Initial Evaluation – Required for All New Dogs

To ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of all dogs in our care, ATD Clubhouse requires an initial evaluation for every new client before joining our daily care program.

During this evaluation, we assess your dog’s social skills, behaviour, and body language while they interact with other dogs in a pack setting. This helps us determine whether our environment is a good fit for your dog’s comfort level, energy, and temperament.

What We Assess:

• Comfort level in a group setting

• Communication through body language

• Socialization skills and tolerance thresholds

• Adaptability to a structured, supervised routine

While daily care is enriching for many dogs, it’s not the right fit for every personality—and that’s okay. This evaluation allows us to create the best environment possible for every dog in our community.

Important Note:

If your dog is thriving during their evaluation and you’d like them to stay longer that day, we’ll waive the evaluation fee and apply a half-day à la carte rate instead. This offers a seamless transition into ongoing care if your pup is ready.
